Revija Socialno delo

Socialno delo Journal is the only scientific periodical publication for social work in Slovenia. It's been published since 1961. From 2019, the journal adheres to open access format. Four issues are published per year: 1 (Jan-Mar), 2 (Apr-Jun), 3 (Jul-Sep), 4 (Oct-Dec). Abstracts are included in data bases: ERIH PLUS, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences IBSS), and EBSCO SocIndex with Full Text. The journal is published by Faculty of Social Work, University of Ljubljana. Journal is so-financed by Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS). Texts published in Socialno delo Journal are licenced under Creative Commons licence: CC BY-SA

Events

Call for papers for the special issue on deinstitutionalisation.

The special issue is aimed to be an echo of the international conference “Deinstitutionalisation… that word!”, held in the town of Lipica in June 2023. However, contributions of authors who did not attend the conference will be also considered for publication. Scientific papers will be prioritised. For this special issue, we welcome manuscripts in English and Slovene. Abstracts should be submitted by the10th January 2024 to both guest editors (mojca.urek@fsd.uni-lj.si and jus.skraban@fsd.uni-lj.si). Full manuscripts should be submitted to socialno.delo@fsd.uni-lj.si at the latest by 10th May 2024 to begin the review process. The special issue will be published in December 2024.
